I'm a new student at Cov Uni, studying Media and living in student accommodation.

I moved to Coventry on Saturday 20th, from the south. I came up with my parents and felt really excited in the car, although quite nervous things wouldn't work out. My main worry was that I wouldn't have flatmates like me and I wouldn't get on with them, I was also worried about making friends; that it would be difficult. I was really worried about things with my boyfriend as well, as he was staying at home while I came to university. I was worried that things wouldn't work out and we wouldn't be able to see each other.

Week two of uni and I still felt a bit strange and uneasy about certain things. I went out on the Monday night when my boyfriend had left Coventry to lava ignite to cheer myself up. This was really good fun and I dressed up as a smurf; it was a theme of the nightclub. It was a brilliant night had so much fun! I was really drunk and had to shower when I got in to get rid of all the blue body paint which was a bit dangerous; falling about in the shower!

Week three of uni and I finally feel really settled, and feel like uni is my home now (which is a good thing!)

Tuesday it's back to lectures which are starting to get interesting an easy to engage with. Tuesday night it's beach theme at Jumping Jaks so me and my friends dress up and wear white t shirts so we can get people to sign them through the night. I'm already quite drunk before we leave on pre-drinks which is always a good indication the night will be fun!

The week started with me back from leeds on the Monday. The Tuesday I had a day of lectures again which even though I had a night in the night before I found it difficult to stay awake, I think it was my body showing the exhaustion from the weekend in Leeds- the lack of sleep and excess alcohol catching up on me! I got two red bull's in the break which woke me up for the rest of the day.
